The Malone Fish and Game Club Inc. is a not for profit corporation as outlined in Section 501(c) (7) of the Internal Revenue Code.
This club is formed for the protection and conservation of fish, game, song bird, and forests; to create a better understanding of the rights of the farmer and more appreciation of the privilege granted the sportsman by the farmer; to encourage the propagation of fish and game and the restocking of the game fields and public waters; to cooperate with the Federal, State, County and Municipal authorities in strictly enforcing the laws for the protection of fish, game, song birds and forests and to assist in creating a better understanding and appreciation of the value of wildlife to the people and the necessity of its proper protection in order to insure a sufficient future supply; to aid in securing proper, beneficial legislation for the protection of our wildlife.
We support the shooting sports and have a 100 yard range for the use of our members, we also have a 3D archery trail, and archery backstop targets.
We also maintain approximately 6 miles of trails open year around for hiking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Skis and snow shoes are available for rental.
The club supports the youth of the area, encouraging them to participate in outdoor recreation. Every spring we sponsor a free fishing derby for the children of the area, prizes and refreshments are provided and there are usually at least 100 participants.
The club also sponsors 2 kids to DEC Camp, and 2 to 4H camp, as finances allow. They must be members children, applications are accepted and names drawn from a hat for each category.
Malone Fish and Game also provides manpower to help the NYS DEC with fish stocking in the spring.
Whenever possible we also offer hunter safety and bow hunter safety classes at the club, as instructors are available.
Meetings are held the First Thursday of every month at the clubhouse, unless otherwise posted on this website, and our Facebook page.
The clubhouse is located at:
1310 Webster St. Rd.
(See map on front page)
The clubhouse is not routinely manned, but we do strive to have the clubhouse open on weekends in the winter when weather permits the ski/snowshoe trails to be open.
